Ubisoft Toronto is a subsidiary of French-Canadian video game developer Ubisoft located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2009, Ubisoft Toronto was officially announced on 6 July 2009 with the studio location being officially confirmed on 4 December 2009.[1]
History
Lead by Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond, the studio developed the newest installment of the Splinter Cells series, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, in conjunction with Ubisoft Montreal. In November 2011 it was revealed that the studio would also be supporting the development of the new Rainbow Six game.[2]
On October 20th, 2014, Jade Raymond announced that she would be leaving Ubisoft after spending 10 years with the company.[3] It was reported that Ubisoft's Alexandre Parizeau would take her role as lead of Ubisoft Toronto.[3]
