Biography Edit

2004: Georgian Information Crisis Edit

Colonel Kobiashvili was stationed at the Georgian Ministry of Defense Headquarters in October of 2004. He is on patrol during the time when Splinter Cell agent Sam Fisher infiltrates the Defense Ministry. One of the guards radioed to anyone on the radio channel to send a colonel down to his location to get through a retinal scanner-locked door, with one guard replying that he passes Kobiashvili on his patrol, and that he can send him down. The first guard denies the request, stating that he hates Kobiashvili, and will find another officer with the rank.

Profile Edit

Murman Kobiashvili seems to be hated by his fellow comrades, this is evident through the radio chatter that is overheard during the Defense Ministry level in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. When one officer radioed in to nearby units about needing to get through a retinal scanner on the base floor, another officer replied to him and said that he passes Colonel Kobiashvili on his patrol, asking if he wants him to send him down. The first officer tells him not to, because he "hates that guy."

During another section, Sam Fisher entered into the kitchen area as he made his way down to the courtyard. As he was in the kitchen, however, the player can overhear a conversation. A guard enters the room and tells them that he thought the kitchen was closed, the chef responds that it's a 'special order for Colonel Kobiashvili.' The guard asks if he may, and spits on the food. He thanks the chef, but the chef says, "thank you."

Trivia Edit

  • It is unknown if Kobiashvili is the colonel Sam Fisher grabs and uses on the retinal scanner.
  • Kobiashvili seems to be hated by not just his comrades, but also the chefs that prepared his food.
  • Kobiashvili sent an email to the colonels in the Defense Ministry regarding Philip Masse and Vyacheslav Grinko, asking the men to treat them both with respect.
