The UMP-45 is a submachine gun featured in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction and available for use by the player In the mission Lincoin Memorial and onwards. The gun is one of the standard 3E personal issue, though not used by Splinter Cells, guards and assault troops are largely carrying this weapon. The gun has good firepower and accuracy, but has a large bullet spread and thus the accuracy worsens with automatic fire. The UMP-45 is the only silenced sub-machine gun in Conviction that has 3 marks, although its range for mark and execute is poor.
