- "The Extended Magazine offers a higher bullet capacity."
- ― in-game description[src]
An Extended Magazine (Extended Mag for short) is a modified weapon magazine that has been upgraded to hold more ammunition.
Overview[]
The purpose of the Extended Magazine upgrade is to increase the maximum magazine compacity for certain weapons. It is not consistent for every weapon the number of bullets that are added, the amount is different for each weapon. For example, if a pistol gets an average of 5 additional rounds while automatic weapons usually receive 15 additional rounds. This is presumably for balance reasons.
