David Michaels is the pseudonym used by the authors of the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.

The first author, Raymond Benson, wrote Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Operation Barracuda.

Grant Blackwood took over for Benson and wrote Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Checkmate and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Fallout. Blackwood also has been the author for the Ghost Recon, EndWar and H.A.W.X series.

Currently, the author of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (novel) and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Endgame is unknown.
