Andrei V. Alekseevich was the commander of a Russian mercenary army after the end of the Georgian Information Crisis in 2004. Alekseevich was positioned in a secret facility located in the Kola Peninsula when Splinter Cell operative Sam Fisher infiltrated the facility. He was one of the antagonists in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell in the Kola Cell DLC.
2004: Post–Georgian Information Crisis Edit
Colonel Alekseevich was assigned to help protect Philip Masse after the death of Kombayn Nikoladze. Alekseevich and Masse were holed up at a facility in the Kola Peninsula. Shortly after Fisher accessed the facility, Alekseevich became aware of his presence. Fisher then grabbed Alekseevich and made him access a retinal scanner to a bathroom through the ducts to Masse's office.
Alekseevich was a strong believer of the goals and values of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) and was able to gather a collected group of men who follow his lead. He believed that former Georgian President Kombayn Nikoladze was, as he described, 'weak' and believed in a natural process in the world that culls out the weak to, in his words, 'make room for the strong.'
- In a relevant history file (and quoted for this page), Anna Grímsdóttir compared Alekseevich to 'Darth Vader', a character from the popular franchise Star Wars.
- It is ultimately up to the player if they want to kill Alekseevich or not, as the objective is for them to force him to use a retinal scanner, not to actually kill him.
