|Appears in||Splinter Cell: Double Agent|
The AK-101 is a select-fire, gas operated assault rifle of the Kalashnikov series.
The AK-101 was designed with two things in mind: combining both the reliability of the Kalashnikov series of assault rifles with the standard-issue familiarity of the NATO 5.56×45mm used by most NATO forces. The reduced weight and modern design were influenced with a more exported market in mind.
Splinter Cell: Double Agent (Version 2) Edit
The AK-101 appears in Splinter Cell: Double Agent as the preferred assault rifle used by the guards in the Iceland mission, the mercenaries guarding the supertanker in the Okhotsk mission, and some of Massoud's men in the Kinshasa mission (Wii version). The AK-101, however, (like most weapons in the game) are unable to be used by the player.
- So far, the AK-101 only appears in one of the Splinter Cell games.
